The new townhome community of Calabash Pointe seems to be appropriately named as the location is situated literally at the “point” where Hickman Road NW intersects with Highway 17 in Calabash.

Perfectly situated in the heart of the coastal Carolinas, this thoughtfully planned neighborhood of Calabash Pointe will offer modern townhome living just minutes from the beach, local dining, and the charming shops of Calabash. Designed with convenience and comfort in mind, Calabash Pointe will provide homeowners with a low-maintenance lifestyle in a highly desirable location, making it an ideal choice for both full-time residents and vacation homeowners.

Calabash Pointe will have one access point off of Hickman Road NW and two access points off of Highway 17.

The townhome community of Calabash Pointe, being developed on am approximate 55.1 acre piece of land, will be rather unique in that nearly 80% of the property will be open space.

Lennar will be the builder in Calabash Pointe.

Preliminary plans from Lennar for this new townhome community of Calabash Pointe are showing approximately 35 separate buildings with the following breakdown of townhome units:

- 17 buildings with 6 townhomes
- 14 buildings with 7 townhomes
- 4 buildings with 4 townhomes

As of September 2025, Lennar has not yet announced timing or pricing for the townhomes in Calabash Pointe.
