Summary of this Calabash New Home Community:
Highway 57 starts in South Carolina, and as it crosses the state line into North Carolina, it becomes known as Hickman Road NW. This transition occurs just north of Little River, SC, as the road enters Brunswick County, NC, near Calabash. The road serves as a connector between these communities and is a significant route for local traffic.

Rye Pint Townhomes are one of four new townhome communities coming soon that are located on the opposite side of Hickman Road NW from the new home community of Coastal Club of the Carolinas by Chesapeake Homes. The new home community of Coastal Club of the Carolinas is being developed on the property that used to be the Farmstead Golf Links. The Farmstead Golf Links was a distinctive course that operated from 2001 until its closure in October of 2021.

Rye Pint Townhomes
In April of 2023, 176 units were approved for development on an approximate 65.88 acres of land just north of Hickman Road NW. Preliminary plans are showing 22 separate buildings with 8 townhomes per building.

There are three other new townhomes communities off of Hickman Road in Calabash that will be coming soon, (1) Mossy Hill Townhomes - 592 units were approved for development on an approximate 175.04 acres of land just north of Hickman Road NW, (2) Hickman Branch Hill Townhomes - 316 units were approved for development on an approximate 70.82 acres of land just north of Hickman Road NW and (3) Forest View Townhomes - 107 units were approved for development on an approximate 22.99 acres of land just north of Hickman Road NW.

Timing for the development of the Rye Pint Townhomes has not been announced.
